For more than three decades, Keith Gibson has built a career centred on leadership, relationships, and service. Born and raised in Victoria, BC, and a proud resident of the Comox Valley for over 10 years, Keith brings a wealth of business experience and a community-first perspective to every client relationship.

As Senior Financial Consultant with Gee Gibson & Associates, Keith leads his own practice, providing comprehensive financial planning and wealth management strategies for individuals, families, professionals, business owners, and retirees. His advice is grounded in understanding what matters most to each client, helping them make informed decisions with confidence while building long-term financial security.

Before transitioning into financial planning, Keith enjoyed a successful career in the golf industry as a PGA of Canada Club Professional and golf course owner/operator on Vancouver Island. Managing golf operations, leading teams, and building lasting relationships with members and guests instilled the values that continue to guide his practice today: integrity, trust, accountability, and exceptional personal service.

Keith's commitment to people extends well beyond his profession. A passionate community leader, he has dedicated countless hours to local organizations and charitable initiatives throughout the Comox Valley. He is a Past President of the Rotary Club and, in recognition of his outstanding community service and leadership, was honoured with the BC Achievement Community Award in 2014.

Keith holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from Royal Roads University and has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC®) designations, reflecting his commitment to the highest standards of professional advice and lifelong learning.

Whether helping clients navigate important financial decisions or giving back to the community he proudly calls home, Keith believes that lasting success is built on trust, meaningful relationships, and a genuine commitment to serving others.

Outside the office, Keith enjoys golfing, boating, skiing, and taking advantage of the incredible outdoor lifestyle the Comox Valley has to offer.

Duane was born and raised in the Comox Valley with an upbringing to care about people and community. With two earlier careers in the grocery business and forestry, he found his calling after receiving honours marks from The Canadian Securities Institute in 1994. Duane started with IG in January 1995 with a goal to help others achieve financial freedom. He immediately enrolled in the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) program and obtained his designation in 1998. As a CFP professional, he meets the Financial Planning Standards Council’s (FPSC) rigorous pre- and post-certification standards in education, experience, examination, and ethics, while adhering to the highest internationally recognized standards of competence and ethical practice as set out by the FPSC.

Starting at a young age, Duane has always been actively involved with community organizations such as 4H, NVIHA, Kiwanis and most recently RCMSAR in the Comox Valley.

Janet Gee started with IG January 1995, after having spent eight years working for trust companies. Prior to then, Janet obtained a business diploma from Canadore College while living in North Bay, Ontario. Janet obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) designation in 1998 and has been a CFP practitioner in her business ever since. The financial planning ethic of IG was part of what drew her to the organization. Janet continues to strive to have a client-focused team, providing people with excellent service and ongoing advice with comprehensive planning. Creating lasting relationships and making a difference in people’s lives make her role incredibly rewarding.

When Janet is not helping clients reach their goals she enjoys time on the golf course and boating with her husband and friends.
